  1. With so many courses in different departments going on simultaneosly, it would be interesting to know the average number of students who take these courses and the minimum and maximum students in a class for a particular course. They must have some minimum number of students who must take the course to make the course viable.

  3. Though most of the Schools/Departments offer a wide range of courses, the University/Schools/Departments decide which courses to be run in a particular term and accordingly students are required to choose the courses. The University always under each programme writes like this "The University reserves the right to make changes to the contents or methods of delivery of, or to discontinue, merge or combine courses, if such action is reasonably considered necessary by the University. If there are not sufficient student numbers to make a course viable, the University reserves the right to cancel such a course. If the University withdraws or discontinues a course, it will use its reasonable endeavours to provide a suitable alternative course". There is no common yard stick for a minimum and maximum enrolment of students for any course. It varies from course to course, I can quote here some examples- Course: Modern Human Evolution- 08-48; Histories in Envin. Issues & Policy-15-90; Developmental Neurobiology-08-60.
I hope I will get the access to the study material of the courses mentioned by Dr.Veeresh since the number of courses chosen by him are more.
