Second if now that you are obviously getting good at doing this, what do we need to do at the College, in terms of infrastructure, so that you can continue doing this.
Sir, I have brought to the notice of our OIT staff, the IT services offered by the University of Sussex. We need to have- • IT website, mission statement, goals, objectives, policy and strategy of implementation. • Staff organisation of IT services. • IT services for students, staff, researchers and visitors. • Quick links to services like printing, installing antivirus, networking and training courses. • Annual review of software and hardware. • The current status of services provided by IT.This is a quick and convenient way to know the problems and issues faced by IT services. • Annual survey of IT services.
Let us wait for the feedback from our OIT staff on this post. I feel we need to have a software engineer in OIT.
Thanks sir for giving the idea of the IT Services in Sussex, i found its bit similar to our network,but their presentation is very good,i liked the idea of cluster room.Sir we will work to improve the IT services provided by OIT staff

We provide most of the services which they provide at sussex. There are some impressive services like showing “current status of all services “ & recharging of their printing balance which does not involve any man power .It would be great help if we get more information on their printing solution.
