  1. Sussex appears to be doing quite well in sports. But I have not noticed any substantial number of viewers. Do the university students not come to cheer their team? Do they have a mascot like the Tiger mascot we have. I have not noticed any in the pictures.
The Sussex University’s departmental posts on the programme and course information that you have put on the blog are quite detailed. Nearly all departments have elaborated on the intellectual, practical and transferable skills a student would acquire through the programme and course of study of the department. This appears to be quite a good thing to emulate. One thing which is not very is the assessment method which they call unseen exams or unseen written exams. What does that mean? Does it mean that the students do not get to see assessed material or they cannot find out why they got a certain score? What about the project work? That appears to be, like we have here, a final year prerogative. What is the weight age carried by the project work?

  2. Yes, I have also observed that the performance of Sussex in sports is good as compared to the other Universities/Colleges. I have not seen any other students coming to cheer their respective teams. No viewers, except me,their coach and some extra players. Sussex do not have a mascot.
Unseen examinations are written tests like us. But question papers are with MCQ and no short/long answer questions.
The project work carry 30 credits.
