  1. Dear Dr. Gaonkar,
Thank you for this post and the post on economics course. I have one specific question about this economics course. Why is it that Sussex offers Economics both at B.A. and B.Sc.? What is the purpose and the difference other than the changes in some papers? From the course content that you have posted earlier and the methodology they use for evaluation, Sussex does not seem to be doing much different from what we do here. However, there could be some differences about the way they organize things which one notices only at the level of personal observation. Thank you for your other posts which have been quite informative as well. These will help us to compare our practices with those at Sussex. Nevertheless, I hope you will be able to find the answer to my query.
    With regards,
    Travassos

  2. Dr,Travassos,
I will discuss with the Head of School of Economics and the course organisers of B.A and B.Sc.when I visit them. One may find similarities in the course contents but we need to see the delivery and the continous/on-line assessment of the course. So far I have posted the information on level 1 (First year), we need to see at level 2 & 3(second and third year)also.
